Royal Museums Greenwich is a national museum covering 4 sites: the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House.
The museum also includes The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre and the Caird Library and Archive. Through their extensive collections, artefacts and objects, they reveal and share fascinating stories about the sea, space, world history, and creativity.
In 2020, Royal Museums Greenwich reached out to Buzz Education in search of a specialist education marketing agency who could help them expand their reach in the education sector, promote their digital sessions to a national audience and encourage more schools within the London area and further afield to book onsite sessions. They already had an in-house marketing team who regularly marketed to the general public, however they were looking for support specifically from education experts to help them connect with teachers and decision makers

To help the team connect with their target education staff and increase school group bookings, our campaign strategist worked closely with them to create a segmented mailing list. Their mailing list included the direct email addresses of deputy heads, assistant head teachers, KS1 and KS2 coordinators, heads and teachers of history, heads and teachers of humanities, heads and teachers of art, and SENCOs.
